Game day
Captain of the RIT women's hockey team, Kendall Cornine, is beginning her fourth season as a forward for the Tigers. She will be graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in May 2019. I documented a day in her life, specifically a typical game day.
Brittany Gout (far left), Jade Mancini (left), Kendall Cornine (center), Brinna Dochniak (top right), and Jordan Marchese (bottom right) all hang out together in their living room discussing their upcoming hockey game on September 28, 2018 in Henrietta, N.Y. All of the girls are members of the RIT women's hockey team and live together off campus in the "Hockey House."
Cornine warms up with the RIT women's hockey team in the Gene Polisseni Center gym before their game. Cornine leads the team through their warm ups as one of her jobs as captain.
Abby Davies, left, listens to Cornine give her advice before playing the College of the Holy Cross. Cornine, being a senior forward, has taken Davies under her wing this season and plans on passing down her knowledge before graduating. RIT ended up beating Holy Cross 2-0.
Cornine leaps onto the ice during a hockey game. RIT ended up defeating the Holy Cross Crusaders 2-0.
